I would like to congratulate all the lovely ladies who share their yoga practice at Studio Fifty-Three.
There has been a remarkable change in strength, balance, flexibility, breath control, the ability to relax, and take on challenges. With regular practice and commitment, poses that first seemed impossible are now possible.
Each practice is a continuation of our journey into yoga and this we can take into our every day life. We remain in the present, focusing on our own practice, not comparing or judging, just being grateful for what we have personally achieved.

Lisa’s yoga classes always seem to be exactly what I need after the end of a day.  It has regained my flexibility and strength and to bring my mind, body and soul back into balance.  I find it is relaxing and gives me  the best night’s sleep.

Yoga has changed me in so many ways.

I have been practices yoga with Lisa for around 18 months. It has increased my strength and flexibility and after I started going twice a week, the results are happening faster. I am able to focus on tasks better and am sleeping better I look forward to seeing the other students who have become friends. Although we take our yoga sessions seriously we also have a lot fun. We laugh and joke and encourage each other. The classes are kept small so you aren’t just a number in a group, you aren’t lost in a crowd. The classes are capped at ten so Lisa can instruct each individual as needed.

It’s certainly is true that if you don’t use it you will lose it.

The hardest thing is starting! Young or old you will get weaker and stiffer and the longer you leave it the harder it will be. Starting yoga has been one of the best things I have done for myself……Mind – Body -Soul
