Dot to Dot Dish
Dot to Dot Dish is a beautifully tactile, one-of-a-kind artwork created using layers of molten beeswax and pigment on plaster. Soft dots and subtle textures come together to create a calm, rhythmic surface.
Each mark is intentionally placed, giving the piece a gentle sense of movement and balance. It’s a small artwork with plenty of presence — perfect for a shelf, console, or feature nook where its texture and warmth can be appreciated up close.
This is a one-of-a-kind piece, handcrafted in my studio and made to be lived with and enjoyed.
✦ Artwork Details

✦ What Is Encaustic Wax Painting?
Encaustic painting is an ancient art form that uses natural beeswax mixed with damar resin (a tree sap) and pigments to create beautifully layered, luminous artworks. Each layer of wax is applied warm and fused with heat, creating depth, movement and a tactile surface you simply can’t achieve with other mediums. Every piece is completely unique.
✦ Caring for Your Encaustic Artwork
Encaustic wax is surprisingly durable — it’s been used for thousands of years.
To keep your artwork looking its best:
Avoid direct sunlight or extreme heat
Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth
A soft natural sheen may develop over time — this is part of the artwork’s character
